Channel Connections

Checklist allows you to connect to channels or booking sites via iCal. By connecting your channels and creating assignment rules, Checklist can create and send jobs to Service Providers each time a booking is created, or cancel the job when a guest cancels.

If you have already connected your channels (API or iCal) in Tokeet, you do not need to connect those channels again in Checklist. Tokeet will send your booking and cancellation events to Checklist.

To add a new connection:

  1. Click Properties on the left navigation bar and select Connections. 

  2. Click Add to the top right-hand corner of the screen.

  3. Enter all required information into the import calendar overlay.

     The calendar URL is obtained from the channels.
  4. Click Import. If you have created an Assignment Rule for this property, Checklist will create a job for each existing booking on your iCal and jobs will automatically be created for future bookings as well.

Manually Refreshing a Connection

Checklist will periodically refresh your iCal connections to search for new events (bookings/cancellations). However, you can manually refresh your iCal at anytime to pull in the most recent updates. Click HERE for detailed steps on refreshing a single connection or bulk refreshing connections.
